guardian angel III
This sculpture by Jacques Lipchitz stands near the entrance to the Kunsthaus Zurich. I walk past this piece almost every day and it turns out that what I always thought was an angel, is acually a cubist harp called "Le Chant des Voyelles," several versions of of which are scattered throughout the world. Oh well, I'll just keep pretending it's an angel that sings vowels and protects the museum.

I like your angel interpretation better. By the way, your timestamp says 10:41 pm, but it's around 14:16 as I write this comment...

blogger always messes up my time stamps. sometimes it even gets the date wrong and posts the picture 3 'days' (posts) earlier. I often have to go back and fix it.
Weird -- I always use the "post options" in the post composing section to make sure the time is reasonable. I try to keep some drafts on hand (without photos usually), and those would probably post with their original creation date if I didn't edit the post option for them.
What I wish I could "control" is the update-date if I edit an older post (like fix a typo or add more information). As it stands, the post appears in the original order on the blog site, but for the feeds and such, the "real" update time is used. So, something from last week shows up as the most recent entry. Gripe!
