early bloomers
We haven't had much of a winter this year, and flower shops everywhere are already selling spring flowers, like these tulips. And yes, the price tag for the larger bunch is 75 francs (approx. $60)!
yup, welcome to Switzerland--things are pricey here. but surprisingly, I've sort of gotten used to it. I'm sure someone bought the 75 franc bouquet--it seems like the Swiss are just not that concerned with the prices of things...but as Ming pointed out the smaller bouquets were "only" 20 francs--which still isn't cheap.

they are gorgeous. so many colours, well worth the money!
uf... a little expensive I think! But what a lovely colors!
Gasp! $60 for a bag of tulips seems...well...high. Smells like someone's making a lot of $$.
Beautiful photo however...and that is free!
I think the 75 francs are for the big bouquet. The small bouquet (a dozen) are 20 francs. But still, that's a lot of money.
WOW! Sixty dollars! Are there many takers at that price? I suppose so or they wouldn't be there...
Lovely photo!
I know things are supposed to be expensive in Switzerland but that's ridiculous!

That is so terrible. You may pay that to have flowers delivered here in the UK but never off the street like that. Pretty but a rip off.
