(re)charging

As I was leaving work, I found this one person electric, er,... car (if you can call it a car...) parked outside a house and being recharged. If you enlarge the picture, you can see the electical cord on the right going from the um, vehicle, to the window above. Click here to see it from another angle and get a better sense of its size.

(apologies for the late post--rough day[s] at work...now it's my turn to recharge...)

I've seen these around - just as well I wouldn't fit in one - looks like a death trap when in heavy traffic. But then if EVERYONE used them, that would be different.

NB z and I were chatting about meeting up sometime in Zurich - interested?

I like the look of it, but am worried about its safety. Mine is small enough - Daewoo Matiz! How long does it take to charge and how costly is it i wonder?

I reckon that we should all drive these small cars in the city and the large 4 wheel drive vehicles should be excluded. Some cities are congested enough. Do you think it would take 2 people, (and their lunch)?

Kewl! Is this similar to those Twike things? www.twike.com -- @m.benaut: the Twike can take two people.

Oh, forgot to mention that the GA is indeed available in a month-long flavor. Around CHF 300 or so. So worth it if you have days off. I went to Arosa, sailed around the Vierwaldstättersee, visited Lugano, Locarno. La Chaux-de-Fonds: long list of places. :-)
