presidential lipo?

When I saw this sign from the tram, I was laughing so hard I had to jump off at the next stop and backtrack up the hill just to get a picture. I don't know what possessed these people to name their cosmetic practice after the home of the U.S. president. I know that business owners around the world have always used American symbols and English words to name their businesses and products, thinking that it'll increase their 'coolness' factor or something. (There is even a hotel downtown called 'Hotel California'). But seriously, lipo & White House??? Just the combination of those two words makes me shudder, especially considering the current resident of the real White House back in Washington D.C.

The building itself has been built to look like the real thing, complete with a faux-neoclassical facade.

If President Bush owns it I would stay away.

I wanted to thank you for your visits to my blog. Thanks.

Maybe this is where Bush went and they made a mistake and sucked out his brains...

But that is obviously incorrect since I don't think that he has any brains to start with.

This is good. One has to wonder sometimes. I don't know though, whether this is worse than "Hotel California". Too much "imagery" behind that one.

Well, if we must "trim the fat", we might as well start with Bush;-)

What an incredible find, Ainz!

tara & kuanyin--glad you enjoyed it. this had me chuckling for a while

z-actually, I have a funny story about that Hotel California...you know how some hotels have flags from around the world hanging over the entrance? well, hotel california had the American flag, the california state flag, the Jamaican flag I think, and some other flags they must have thought would look cool, presumably to appeal to the backpacker set. The problem is, one of these was the US confederate flag. seriously! they had no idea what it meant...eventually the confederate flag came down, so someone must have explained the flag's negative symbolism to the hotel manager...this was about 2 years ago, way before I started daily photo, and now I really wish I had taken a picture back them.
