Knowing the Swiss as i do, it's an urban exercise point. From stretching to bouncing, it's an alternative to the assault courses you find in the woods. To encourage the Swiss to keep fit even whilst shopping!
It's a puzzle. The pieces fit together to make a circle and you have to work it out. The urban, office teambuilding thing. Never idle, the Swiss.
Hmm tricky... 1. for people to rest...on their stomach with hands swinging on the sides:) 2. The logo for a new store/company, they made it this big to get attention and advertise the opening...

I have no clues. Obviously not a seat as you would fall on your butt sitting on the one in the foreground. Must be something else.
