dolls on display

Another interesting window display--at a hair salon, of all places. They're cute, though they have this evil gleam in their eyes...

Yes, weird dolls. Village of the Damned and all that...

Someone's got a strange sense of humour. I'd not want one of these if I were a child - or an adult, come to that.

Good photo. Jx

It is eye-cathing. I suppose people passing by might raise their eyes and see what the point is. Nudity I guess. There are places in this country that actually sell life like blow-up dolls. My granddaughter got a new baby doll for Christmas and it is a male and has all the right parts. I guess this is the age of realism.

Your photograph captured the scene very well and leaves very little to doubt.

Like Isabella before me, I thought of Chucky immediately. And I haven't even seen those movies... the power of movie posters.

pusa--funny they remind you of your neice. She must be quite a handful!

the salems--lol!

abe- funny comment...the dolls are quite small, no more than 10cms. People in Europe are more comfortable with nudity than in the US, and I'm sure they aren't meant to be offensive at all. Just funny/quirky, I guess. I like the contrast of their cuteness & 'evilness'

isabella & Z--yes, I too immediately thought of Chucky when I saw them (even thoug I've never seen the movie...) I didn't mention it because I was waiting to was waiting to see if anyone else thought the same thing :-) great minds think alike and all...
