tombstones & cemeteries



Pictured here is Zürich’s Friedhof Fluntern cemetery, in the Zuriberg hills, next to the zoo. I really like the idea of placing a stone on top of the tombstone, marking one's visit. On a clear day, you can see the Alps from here.

What a beautiful set of photographs for this Theme Day. I've never heard of placing a stone on a grave but what a nice idea. Also didn't know that Joyce was buried in Zurich.
